INFORMATIVE NOTICE ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
This Informative notice is provided pursuant to section 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 (the “Privacy Code”) and subsequent amendments and integrations.
The Newsletter of the SAF MARCONI s.r.l. (relating to the development of project ‘Learn to be global’ which is currently being implemented by the Data Controller and his Partners referred to in this website) is sent by email to those who have specifically requested to receive such information by filling out the form (first name, last name / institutional name and email address) above on this page and authorising SAF MARCONI s.r.l. to process their data. The data refers to the data subject and/or third parties (e.g. reference persons of the Universities – which shall comply with the obligations relating to the communication of third parties’ data to the Data Controller – who submit the data to the Data Controller).
The provision of personal data is optional. The refusal to provide such data will make it impossible to provide the services required (newsletter submission).
The purposes for the processing
Personal data provided by users are used only for the purpose of sending newsletters.
Data processing modality
The data are processed by automated tools and all the security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.
The Data Controller is SAF MARCONI s.r.l., with registered office in Rome (Italy), Via V. Orsini 17A, Zip. 00192 (the “Data Controller”).
Data processing related to the newsletter submission service shall take place at the above mentioned office of the Data Controller and it is carried out only by authorized personnel (see also below).
In case of necessity, the data processing related to the newsletter submission service can be carried out by Franiuk Design (and its collaborators) which is responsible for maintenance of the technological part of the site, at its above mentioned office.
RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
Users have the right to obtain information on the existence of any recordings of their personal information at any time, and to know the content and origin of personal information, check their correctness or ask for their updating, amendment or integration, their cancellation, anonymization or the blocking of any data processed illegally; they also have the right to fight the processing of collected personal information about them, for legitimate reasons.
Art. 7 of Privacy Code:
1. The data subject has the right to receive confirmation of the existence or otherwise of personal data concerning himself/herself, even if not yet registered, and their communication in intelligible form.
2. The data subject has the right to be informed regarding:
a) the source of the personal data,
b) the purposes and methods of the processing;
c) the logic applied in the case of processing carried out with the assistance of electronic tools;
d) the identification details of the controller, data supervisor and person appointed in accordance with article 5, paragraph 2;
e) the parties or categories of parties to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may have knowledge of it in their capacity as appointed national representatives, supervisors or authorized persons.
3. The data subject has the right to obtain:
a) the updating, rectification, or, if necessary, integration of the data;
b) the cancellation, the transformation into anonymous form or the blockage of the data processed in breach of the law, including the data whose retention is not necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed;
c) the certification that the operations stated in letters a) and b) have been notified, even with regard to their content, to those to whom the data were communicated or disseminated, except in the case in which such requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right protected.
4. The data subject has the right to object, in whole or in part:
a) on legitimate grounds, to the processing of his/her personal data, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection;
b) to the processing of his/her personal data, where it is for the purpose of sending advertising material or direct sales or for carrying out market research or commercial communication surveys.
